Erin Foster is a writer, actress, and producer best known for co-starring and creating the VH1 parody reality series Barely Famous alongside her older sister, Sara Foster. The sisters are highly regarded for their clothing and lifestyle brand Favorite Daughter. The brand has grown into a major DTC contemporary label with distribution at Nordstrom, Revolve, Saks Fifth Avenue, Moda Operandi, and Selfridges. Favorite Daughter has been worn by an array of talent like Riley Keough, Ashley Graham, Shawn Mendes, Lauren Santo Domingo, Jennifer Aniston, Ayesha Curry, Katy Perry, and many others.
Ms. Foster and her sister were named Co-Heads of Creative for the tech app Bumble in 2020. They also went on to become advisors to the workout system Mirror, which sold to Lululemon in 2020 for $500M. Off of their successes in the tech space, the sisters founded Oversubscribed Ventures, a venture fund that invests in consumer brands and technology. As of January 2024, they have invested in Nara Organics, Juliet, Exponent Beauty, Pizza Girl, Batch, 10Beauty, and FuturHealth.
In 2021, the Foster duo launched a podcast series titled The World’s First Podcast covering topics like therapy, wellness, relationships, and business. Up next, Ms. Foster will step into the role of Creator and Showrunner of the half hour comedy series Nobody Wants This for Netflix. The series stars Kristen Bell and Adam Brody and is set to release in September 2024.
Ms. Foster and her husband Simon Tikhman, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of The Core Entertainment, reside in Los Angeles and Nashville and recently welcomed their baby Noa.
