Oliver Zak is Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder of Mad Rabbit. After getting his first tattoo, Mr. Zak saw a gap in the tattoo aftercare market and the lack of natural, organic skincare that was specifically designed for tattooed skin. Inspired by his father’s entrepreneurial spirit and mother’s apothecary experience, Mad Rabbit was born with one product in his college dorm room, but has since turned into an industry disrupting brand. In his role, he enhances product development, sustainability, partnerships, and cultivates a customer community.
Mr. Zak brought Mad Rabbit to national recognition after appearing on the hit show Shark Tank in 2021, where he and Co-founder Selom Agbitor received an investment from Mark Cuban. Since then, the brand has continued on a steep upward trajectory growing 138% year over year and quadrupling its valuation in only two years. Mr. Zak was recently listed on Forbes 30 Under 30 along with Mr. Agbitor, highlighting the brand’s continued innovation in the rapidly growing tattoo and skincare industries. Mad Rabbit now boasts nine products with plans to continue expanding to meet customer needs throughout the entire tattoo journey. Most recently, the brand made its foray into the professional tattoo category with plans to continue expanding this product line for tattoo artists.
