Luke Rauch serves as Chief Merchandising Officer and Senior Vice President at Walgreens. In this role, he is responsible for the vision, leadership, strategic direction, and performance of all Walgreens merchandising activities, playing a vital role in the company’s growth and actualizing its vision to create more joyful lives through better health.

Most recently, Mr. Rauch served as Chief of Staff to the Chief Executive Officer of Walgreens Boots Alliance, where he gained a reputation as a highly strategic leader who consistently delivers results with the customer in mind. Prior to that, he was Group Vice President of Customer Experience and General Manager of Owned Brands for Walgreens. In this role, Mr. Rauch led the owned brands strategy in the United States and was instrumental in defining Walgreens retail customer experience. His previous Walgreens leadership roles include Vice President of Commercial Strategy and Senior Director of Insights. Walgreens is included in the United States segment of Walgreens Boots Alliance Inc. and based in Deerfield, Illinois.

Prior to Walgreens, Mr. Rauch worked in Deloitte Consulting’s strategy practice where his experience included growth strategy, new product and market entry, digital strategy, and marketing strategy.

Mr. Rauch received his undergraduate degree from University of Michigan along with his M.B.A. from the Ross School of Business.
