Allison Statter and Sherry Jhawar joined forces to launch Blended Strategy Group in 2015. Ms. Jhawar is a Harvard business school graduate, L’Oréal alum, and one of the founding team members and Head of Global Marketing at Eos, the pop culture disrupting egg-shaped lip balm. She has always been an out-of-the-box thinker and started replacing traditional media buying with influencer driven partnerships well before it became the norm. This work brought her to Ms. Statter, a forward-thinker who facilitated many of the early Eos entertainment partnerships during her more than ten years at Azoff Music Management, where she managed A-list talent such as Gwen Stefani, Jennifer Hudson, Adam Levine, Jewel, and Mariah Carey to name a few. She also led the Brand division, negotiating major deals with top brands from American Express to L’Oréal to Weight Watchers, among many others.
Together, they combined their talent and brand management expertise to launch Blended Strategy Group. What initially began as a celebrity procurement and influencer marketing agency now includes integrated marketing communications services with full-service Public Relations and Social Media divisions, as well as a robust Venture business. Through the Blended Venture Group, Ms. Statter and Ms. Jhawar have been behind-the-scenes advising and helping to build many of today’s emerging celebrity and founder-backed brands, including GXVE Beauty by Gwen Stefani, Calirosa Tequila (founded by Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo), Jennifer Meyer Fragrance & Beauty, Live Tinted by Deepica Mutyala, and the Mane by Mane Addicts by Jen Atkin.
