Piyush Jain is Chief Executive Officer of Maesa, the world’s largest beauty incubator in mass. He joined Maesa in 2022 and is leading the company through transformative growth and success by nurturing a strong portfolio of beauty brands, launching new brands, and investing in top talent to continue to fuel the future growth of Maesa.

Prior to joining the company, Mr. Jain served as Chief Executive Officer of Hand in Hand, a Bain Capital Double Impact company. Before that, he played integral roles across beauty, hair, and personal care categories at Unilever for more than 20 years. In his most recent role there, he served as Global Brand Vice President for Beauty and Personal Care, and earlier he ran the North America hair brand portfolio. In a first for Unilever, Mr. Jain founded and incubated the award-winning, purpose-driven brand Love Beauty & Planet. During his career with the personal care giant, he built a track record of success, leading diverse and iconic brands including Dove, Lux, Suave, TRESemmé, and Nexxus.

Mr. Jain is passionate about unlocking the true potential of businesses and people he works with. His ambition is to make Maesa the fastest-growing beauty company in the world, with a profitable and sustainable business model and a vibrant culture that facilitates learning and entrepreneurial spirit.

He lives in New York with his wife Joyee Deb, a professor of economics at New York University. In his free time, he is an avid reader, a sports enthusiast, and a marathoner.
