Artemis Patrick is President of Sephora North America, where she is responsible for helping shape the retailer’s strategic multi-year growth for the United States and Canada. When current Chief Executive Officer Jean-André Rougeot retires in April, Ms. Patrick will be named President and Chief Executive Officer of North America. She is also a member of Sephora’s Global Leadership Team (SLT) and Sephora America’s operating committee.

Ms. Patrick is a multi-faceted leader, with roots in merchandising, brand building, partnerships, and e-commerce. During her 17 years at Sephora, she has been a consistent leader across several business functions, most recently as Global Merchandising Officer for Sephora and Chief Merchandising Officer for Sephora Americas.

Aptly known as “the brand whisperer” by her industry peers, Ms. Patrick is a brand builder in beauty and retail. She has helped shape some of Sephora’s most breakthrough categories and collaborations to-date, including Sephora’s expansive partnership with Kohl’s and categories like indie fragrances, inclusive foundation assortments, and clean beauty. With her recent promotion, her focus is now on championing Sephora’s strong leadership team and developing growth strategies in North America in order to maintain Sephora’s position as the number one prestige beauty omni-retailer.

Ms. Patrick is the recipient of several industry awards, including The Fragrance Foundation Circle of Champions Award, Cosmetic Executive Women’s Achiever Award, City of Hope’s Spirit of Life Award, and The National Mother’s Day Committee’s Outstanding Mother of the Year. She also plays an active role on Cosmetic Executive Women’s board.

She received her bachelor of arts in economics from University of California, Santa Cruz and University of Madrid and her master of business administration from San Francisco State University.
