As TikTok's Vertical Director of Retail and E-Commerce, Matt Cleary is focused on leading a world-class sales team to help brands activate at scale on TikTok and meaningfully engage with the community. He joined the company in 2020 as Head of Central region, where he was responsible for establishing the platform's midwest operations and leading the strategy and execution of agency and brand direct partnerships.

Prior to TikTok, Mr. Cleary spent 12 years creating global media solutions and partnerships for both startups and Fortune 500 companies including Nextdoor, Twitter, Apple, and Disney.

He attended The University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
