Tricia Glynn has more than 20 years of private equity experience and has led or participated in 17 investments across the retail and consumer, healthcare, business services, real estate, and media sectors, both domestically and internationally.

Ms. Glynn joined Advent in 2016 and co-heads the retail, consumer, and leisure team in North America. She has led or co-led Advent’s investments in Olaplex, an innovative, science-enabled, technology-driven beauty company; Orveon, a collective of iconic cosmetics brands including bareMinerals, BUXOM, and Laura Mercier; First Watch, a daytime dining concept with more than 430 restaurants; and Grupo BIG (formerly Walmart Brazil), Brazil’s third-largest food retailer. She is lead director of Olaplex and serves on the boards of Orveon, First Watch, and Savage X Fenty, a portfolio company of Advent affiliate Sunley House Capital. Ms. Glynn has also been involved in Advent’s investments in lululemon athletica and Bojangles and is Co-chair of Advent’s global diversity, equity, and inclusion committee.

Prior to Advent, Ms. Glynn spent 12 years with Bain Capital Private Equity, where she was a principal in the consumer, retail, and dining sector team, and before that was an investment professional with the Private Equity Group of Goldman, Sachs & Co.

She earned an A.B. in biochemical sciences from Harvard College and an M.B.A. as a Baker Scholar from Harvard Business School.
