Tara Brown is Chief Marketing Officer of Maesa, a New York-based global brand incubator backed by Bain Capital and home of such brands as Kristin Ess, Hairitage, TPH by Taraji, Flower, Anomaly, Hey Humans, Mix:Bar, and Andrew Fitzsimons.
Ms. Brown joined Maesa in 2021 and is responsible for leading the global marketing organization, building consumer-inspired brands and developing products to drive growth and unleash purpose in collaboration with brand founder-partners.
Ms. Brown has more than 20 years of beauty and personal care experience. A global business leader and marketing executive, she has a track record of transforming consumer businesses and global brands at Procter & Gamble, Johnson & Johnson, and Keurig Dr. Pepper across industries, categories, geographies, and channels. She was a member of J&J Consumer’s Global Marketing Leadership Team and Vice President of Total Brand Experience. Prior to J&J, Ms. Brown oversaw the expansion of P&G’s global feminine care franchises as well as front-end innovation. Her leadership was important in the ALWAYS brand’s purpose-inspired reinvention and her strategic vision fueled the ALWAYS and TAMPAX pipeline of breakthrough innovation.
Having lived in Canada, Latin America, the United States, and operated globally with P&G, Ms. Brown has developed a global understanding of women and an appreciation for the impact that marketing can have on improving our world.
